Sjors Harmens isn't an entrepreneur behind a big corporation. He's a real poker player, just like you. He's played poker fanatically for over fifteen years. He played his first live tournament in 2010 during the Dutch Open at Holland Casino. Not long after, he had a standout week during the MCOP in Amsterdam and first really got on PokerCity's radar. In the years that followed he played many live tournaments at Holland Casino, but in recent years he's taken it a bit easier – though he still regularly sits down for a tournament.

Pokertafelshop.nl isn't just a place to buy tables – it's a place born out of the needs of a player who knows what matters. Every table is carefully selected and tested. The origin of Pokertafelshop.nl
The idea for Pokertafelshop.nl came about when Marijn van Leeuwen, a good friend of Sjors from his high school days, came by to take photos of Sjors' poker tables. Marijn, himself a creative entrepreneur, immediately saw the potential. "This is such a great product, why don't we turn this into a real webshop?" And so it happened. Together they decided to set up Pokertafelshop.nl as a place made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.
